FAQs
APTIS and IELTS are both English language proficiency tests, but they differ in several ways. APTIS is a computer-based test that assesses proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. It is designed to be flexible and customizable for different contexts, such as academic or professional settings.
APTIS is used by a variety of organizations like universities, schools and governments in more than 85 countries. It is also recognized as a valid proof of English proficiency by ministries, educational institutions and regional governments across the world.
APTIS results are reported in two ways: with numerical scores and CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) levels. 1 Numerical score: this is a score on a scale of 0 to 50 by skill (known as the scale score). If you have taken Aptis 4-skills, you will receive a Final Scale Score: (0-200).
An electronic copy of your APTIS results/report will be sent to you via email two (2) days after completing the test. Please note that this electronic result/report is final and a hard copy certificate we will not be provided.
