Job Overview: We are looking for a passionate Instructor/Lecturer in Introduction to Coding with Swift. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in iOS development and programming languages, with a focus on teaching coding to beginners. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Teach coding fundamentals using Swift to undergraduate students.  

• Design engaging and interactive course content that covers fundamental and advanced topics in Swift programming. 

• Develop instructional materials such as lecture slides, coding exercises, projects, and assessments tailored to diverse learning styles.  

• Teach coding principles through hands-on coding sessions and live demonstrations using Swift. 

• Guide students in building iOS applications and projects that demonstrate their understanding of key concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. 

• Mentor students in developing individual and group projects, providing guidance on best practices and debugging techniques. 

• Teach students to use development tools such as Xcode, Interface Builder, and debugging tools effectively. 

• Provide guidance on using Git and version control for managing code and collaborating on projects. 

• Create and administer assessments that accurately measure student progress and comprehension of Swift programming concepts. 

• Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and exams to support student growth. 

• Incorporate real-world coding challenges and case studies into the curriculum to illustrate the practical applications of Swift. 

• Encourage students to explore app development projects that address real-world problems and contribute to their portfolios. 

• Teach students the importance of coding best practices, including code readability, commenting, and adhering to coding standards. 

• Guide students in developing clean, maintainable, and efficient code that follows industry standards. 

Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree or Ph. D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

• Proficiency in Swift and iOS development. 

• Prior teaching experience and a passion for coding education. 

• Must be fluent in English (Arabic will be an added advantage) 

Legal Requirements: 

• Must currently reside in Qatar hold a valid Qatari ID
