Job Overview: We are seeking a talented Instructor/Lecturer in Design Portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for guiding students in creating professional portfolios that showcase their design skills and creativity. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Teach students how to curate and present their work in a compelling portfolio. 

• Provide constructive feedback on student projects and designs. 

• Develop course materials that emphasize portfolio development and presentation. 

• Mentor students in preparing for careers in design. 

• Design and update course content that teaches students how to create compelling and professional design portfolios. 

• Critically assess student projects, providing constructive feedback on both technical execution and conceptual design. 

• Teach students the current standards and expectations in design portfolios for different industries, including graphic design, UX/UI, and visual arts. 

• Facilitate group critique sessions to help students receive and provide feedback, fostering a collaborative learning environment. 

• Assist students in preparing their portfolios for job applications, internships, and academic opportunities, focusing on tailoring their work to specific roles and industries. 

• Organize workshops and guest lectures from industry professionals to provide insights into what makes a successful design portfolio. 

Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. 

• Professional experience in design and a strong portfolio. 

• Prior teaching experience is preferred. 

• Must be fluent in English (Arabic will be an added advantage) 

Legal Requirements: 

• Must currently reside in Qatar hold a valid Qatari ID
